Jerome R. Corsi, co-author of the 2004 blockbuster Unfit for Command, today joined the staff of TheVanguard.Org, America's premier conservative movement online.
"My role will be to serve as a senior political strategist with TheVanguard.Org, researching and writing aggressively to advance conservative themes in opposition to liberal Democratic Party politics," Corsi said in an article in this morning's Human Events.
The article, entitled "TheVanguard.org Plans Conservative Challenge to MoveOn.org" and written by Corsi as part of his regular series of columns for Human Events, is available online here: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=19084
"While MoveOn.org has pioneered an entire range of winning strategies -- from online forums to virtual marches on Washington and even online primaries (wherein their members choose the candidate MoveOn.org will endorse) -- we mean not merely to duplicate their efforts, but to invent some new Internet-driven strategies of our own," Corsi wrote.
As co-author with John O'Neill of Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry, Corsi ignited the firestorm which many credit with the derailment of Kerry's 2004 presidential bid. A regular columnist for Human Events and WorldNetDaily, Corsi is also the author of numerous other books including Atomic Iran and (with Jim Gilchrist) Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University.
"I'm thrilled to have my friend Jerry Corsi on the team," said Rod D. Martin, TheVanguard.Org's founder and chairman, whose internet roots most notably lie in PayPal.com. "Jerry's work was absolutely essential in 2004, and I have no doubt it will be again in 2008. I know we'll do a lot of great things together."
