To the Senate Democratic Leadership:

The President has made a wise choice in his selection of Justice John Roberts for the U.S. Supreme Court. Many of you have previously openly recognized the extraordinary qualifications of Justice Roberts. And in your recent "deal" on filibusters, you agreed not to block the President's picks except in "extraordinary circumstances".

We, the undersigned Americans, expect you to keep your word. We will not accept needless, personal attacks on Justice Roberts, nor will we tolerate a "litmus test" approach, blocking confirmation because of his faith or values.

Confirm Justice Roberts, quickly and cordially. America is watching. And we won't forget.
