Many of you have previously openly recognized the extraordinary qualifications of Justice Roberts. And in your recent "deal" on filibusters, you agreed not to block the President's picks except in "extraordinary circumstances". We, the undersigned Americans, expect you to keep your word. We will not accept needless, personal attacks on Justice Roberts, nor will we tolerate a "litmus test" approach, blocking confirmation because of his faith or values.
