House and Senate Democrats have betrayed our troops and betrayed America. They have voted for a needless, pointless surrender in Iraq.

But we can still stop them.

Democrats have voted to cut funding for the war; strip the President of war-making authority; cut off reinforcements for our troops; and set a deadline for U.S. retreat from Iraq next year.

This bill is H.R. 1591. We call it the Pelosi-Murtha Preemptive Surrender Bill. What it means is simple: terrorists win, we lose.

The House passed it on March 23, the Senate on March 29. But the President has courageously vetoed it -- standing against the drumbeat of the mainstream media and standing up for us and our troops. We have to stand with him.

The Democrats will try to override his veto, of course; but even more importantly, they can cut off funds for the troops just by refusing to pass a bill.

Only we can stop them. We have to demand that they fund the troops and let them win, now.

The Pelosi-Murtha bill will kill American troops and crush morale. It will tell the terrorists we have lost our will to win. It will tell our allies they can't trust us, driving them away from us. It will tell our enemies that if they just hold out one more year, we will cower in fear, and we will give Iraq to them.

This bill will leave America...alone. And then, for the first time since 9/11, the terrorists will succeed. They will have won the war in Iraq because we lacked the courage to win. And then they’ll come back to America, and the war will really start: here.

We have to fight back fast. We must not let this radical left-wing Congress hamstring our troops and deliver us to the enemy. We can stop them, if we act now.

We all need to do three things:

First, everyone needs to sign the Al Qaeda “Thank You” card. We're going to take giant versions of this card to Capitol Hill and present them to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, other Democrat leaders and freshman Democrats who voted for surrender. One side will be the "Thank You" card, the other side will demand that Congress vote against surrender and will bear the signatures of thousands of us from across America. Second, we need everyone to call and fax Congress. The more messages they get, the more likely they are to listen, and lots of them are in precarious districts where they could easily lose re-election next year. We've provided their phone number below (please email us when you call them: it's important). We've also provided a way for you to fax them (below). Faxes get attention and allow us to send them more information; they also get around the roadblocks Congress has built to stop constituent emails. Unfortunately we have to charge for the fax service, but we can save you hours of work in the process. Sending these messages is vital.

Third, we have to spread the word. The more faxes we send, the more calls we make, and the more people who sign the giant postcards, the better chance we have to win this war.

Our troops are fighting and dying for us in Iraq.  It’s time we started fighting for them here at home. Fax and call Congress now, before it's too late.
